I agree, the spaces bug was terrible. A few switches and it's unusable, i bet a lot of us were quite happy with the patch and OS update. Can't wait to see what is next on the table for future patches and future product development, could not live without my cs4! Love this blog, great food for though!

I found that this bug can be somewhat mitigated by assigning Flash to always run in a particular space. Spaces will still irritatingly take you to that Flash without warning when the compile is done; but at least it doesn't pop up that blank window in the wrong space and crash the Finder.

Also, clicking on the FLCS4 dock icon should take me to the space currently occupied by Flash, but it doesn't.

Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, same a Flash. Nothing.

The Fireworks dock icon brings any floating panels into the wrong space, without the main app.

The Dreamweaver dock icon does take me to the correct space. This works.

No good. Either they all work, or the whole thing is unworkable. Flash is still a nuisance in Spaces.

I'm still finding problems using Flash CS4 with Spaces. When I start FLCS4 in a space, I get a blank window. No toolbars, no nothing except the title bar. Shutting it down and re-starting a few times will eventually yield the correct result.

I stopped using Spaces because of Creative Suite 4. If I'm not mistaken, FLCS4 wasn't the only CS4 app which made spaces unuseable. They'd have to fix the entire suite for me to use it again.
